App just freezes after loading

Yahoo weather is a beautiful app with an easy to use flat design, that Ive relied on for as long as Ive had an iPhone. I find it more useful than the stock Apple app. And appreciate the useful updates over the years. The only knock are the ads, but "free" has to be paid for somehow, right?

At least move them (ads) to the bottom; just ruined a beautifully put together weather app.

This was my favorite weather App for many years (2008, I believe). It gave me 5 & 10 day forecasts and allowed me to set many variables & prefs. That was then, this is NOW: First off, with the recent changes, this App now constantly freezes. Quits & reboots have become a regular annoyance. Also, instead of getting my immediate weather info, I was faced with a full screen ad FIRST thing, forcing me to go looking for my critical weather info. The ads used to be limited in size AND didnt require me to swipe to find my weather info. Before anyone thinks "boo hoo for me" know this: Im disabled & need fast weather info to determine how to bundle up before getting on my mobility scooter. Also, I have serious trouble using my hands, so I try to keep my swipes & scrolls down to a minimum. My user-friendly weather App went from being my fave weather source to now being toast. I deleted the App & decided to do this review. IF, Yahoo! adds an opportunity to go ad-free by paying 99¢, then Ill go back. But for now, Ill return to using the weak  App until I find an alternative…

This is a great weather app, correct info, 10 day forcast, custom locations all over the world. "Feels like" detail is very accurate. Humidity, visibility and UV Index all included. Description of weather 24 hours out as well as a Interactive hourly precipitation map. Wind and pressure, as well as sunrise/sunset times are present as well. All you could ever want for the basic weather connoisseur!

Obnoxious ad is now the first module in the app. Was so great when it didnt have ads. Typical yahoo

I have downloaded, bought, searched the web and never found a better weather app. I am in Arizona and a thunderstorm just started. I immediately went to the Yahoo Weather app and not only was it accurate but as I expanded the radar map I saw the current storm, a lull, then another storm coming in. Not only was the information correct and accurate but 3 other paid weather apps I checked did not relay nor show what I was experiencing. If you have or get this app you will be accurately informed of weather, like no other.

Move the ad section back down! ENTIRELY annoying! Besides that its a lovely app.

The screen gets stuck so often. I saw this first in my moms 6s plus, now seeing it on my 6s too. Clearly something wrong with the app. Ill look for some other weather app.

This was my favorite weather app for years. Loved the pictures along with spot on weather forecasts. Until they started placing ads above the forecast which I find totally obnoxious and have since deleted the app, now being forced to rely on Apples frequently inaccurate weather forecast. I would GLADLY pay 99 cents to get the old ad-free app back!!

Love the pictures that accompany each location, and the precipitation graphics add a nice touch. Dont care for the adds, but thats the price of a "free" app. One complaint that others seem to be experiencing: it frequently freezes, and you have to exit and reboot to unlock it. Fix that and it gets 5 stars.

I was very happy with the original ad free version. Five stars if I can have an option to pay for ad free.

Was ok, now giant ads on first page not removable! Will be changing weather app now.

What have you done to this app⁉️⁉️ Ive used it for years and now its locking up. Ive deleted and reinstalled numerous times and it still doesnt function properly. Something has seriously gone wrong. Fix it please ❗️

This is disappointing that we are not able to remove this ad in settings! If it does not change, I will go to another weather ap. You are not thinking of your customers!! It should not be the first thing we see..... It should be at the end!!! We are on your sight for weather reports of family & friends not to be hassled with more ads!

Ad too large, takes up half my screen. I understand the need for ads, but how about two smaller ones instead? I have a hand disability and its difficult to swipe/scroll... Make things easier for people. Last thing I need is another window to close because I accidentally clicked on an ad.

Tried it out base on the recommendation of a friend. Had been using that other major weather app which was quirky. Its as accurate as any, but much more fluid to navigate. Its a keeper.

This app gives the details I was looking for. It is nicely laid our and friendly.

Last update made the ads MORE intrusive. Not worth the bother now. Deleting.
